Marquee Sizes
We will always come and check your site before booking a marquee but here are some guide lines and essential information if you have not had a marquee before.
When deciding what size of marquee you need for your event you need to know the number of guests you are expecting and the useable size of your garden. We have extension legs to cover different ground levels. We cannot go around trees or poles but small trees and shrubs can be inside a marquee and will give the marquee character. First check the width of your garden.
Our marquee widths are 4.5m, 6m, 9m, 12m & 15m. We would need an additional 1 meter of working space. Once you have decided the best width you need to decide the number of bays you need. Each bay is 3m deep. 3 bays of a 6m marquee will give you a 6m x 9m marquee.
The chart below will give you an idea of ideal sizes for the number of guests.
Too many people crammed into a small place is both uncomfortable and unsafe, conversely too large a space can make your event seem under populated.
